Commission Procedures

 After a free consultation by phone or e-mail, Rose will begin the process of creating your commission for you to enjoy.

The process is in three general phases:

Phase 1: Photo shoot/consultation

Phase 2: Preliminary drawing for your approval

Phase 3: Final painting matted and shrink-wrapped for protection(watercolors)

The fee for each commission is set on a case by case basis, due to a variety of factors, such as complexity of backgrounds, or image content.

In portraits, a single head image would be less than a double portrait as in the case of siblings, etc. So, do not hesitate to call for general estimates.

Before contacting Rose Mavis, consider where you want to hang the final painting, what medium you would prefer, and what size you want to work with including the frame.
