I am very pleased to finally reveal the above commission in oils that was done for a private collection. For those of who are seriously considering commissioning your very own treasured heirloom, this should give you an idea of my painting style and manner. 

I take each commission very seriously and exceptional care and timely progress is made on each commission as circumstances permit. Oils are by nature, a slow drying medium and I prefer to work with its properties in letting each important stage of the painting proper time to cure. At the present time, I let clients know that oils generally take between six months to a year to complete. This rather lengthy time, ensures proper planning, proper approvals to take place at each step of the commission to ensure client satisfaction. 

I also do portrait commissions in watercolors as well. A very good example of this can be found in this site under Sleeping Toddler. 

All commission work requires a signed letter of agreement that the client must sign to ensure full understanding and completion of the works to your utmost satisfaction. 

Estimates are given on a case by case basis. All factors such as complexity of backgrounds, clothing details, etc. are taken into consideration when an estimate is provided. 

Please do not be deterred in at least inquiring about estimates. I am very generous in payment plans and will work with each client in a manner that can be amenable to each varying circumstances. Drop a note by e-mail and I will be glad to get back to you as soon as I am able.
