Happy Spring to Come!
Welcome to my site.
Well, we are finally turning the corner into the Spring Season. We just have to hold onto our hats for the March winds!
I am slowly getting ready for the opportunities that beckon me to go outdoors to paint. In the meantime, I am busy with my regular classes during the week. I hope to see you all in class!
I have updated the class schedules and you might be able to find a location and session that might suit your schedule and circumstances.
Please note that fees have remained the same and that the classes continue to be a fair and reasonable cost, considering that students receive the benefits of a thirty year painting professional and a graduate of the Marywood University Fine Arts curriculum, which is a rigorous course of study at the MFA level.
My classes have the open studio concept which enables any medium to be tried out. I am personally adept in a variety of mediums, as I have tried many mediums over my lifetime of being an artist.
Among those mediums, are: Oils, Watercolors, Pastels, Pen and Ink, Pencil, Gouache, and Acrylics.
In the meantime, get those paint boxes ready to go out to paint plein air, and please keep learning and growing in your painting.
Keep your eyes tuned into the world around you, both small scenes that evoke a special feeling that you want to capture on canvas, to the large vistas in the landscapes that are around us in your back yard, to the vacation scenes you may see on your travels.
I would also like to say that I am a member of several professional arts organizations such as:
National Associaiton of Art Educators
Lehigh Valley Arts Council
Bethlehem Palette Club
